RUNNING APPLET PROGRAM

    To run an applet, one of the following tools are needed:

o   Java Enabled Web browser (such as HotJava or NetScape)

o   Java Appletviewer.

    If Java Enabled Web browser is used. It will be possible to see the entire web page containing applet.

     If appletviewer is used, it will only display the applet output. The appletviewer is not a complete web browser therefore it ignores all of the HTML tags except the part pertaining to the running of the applet.

       The appletviewer is available as a part of the applet Java Development Kit that can be used as:

appletviewer MyApplet.html
